    How many of you get your elk tested?? I shot one in october but everything was closed for testing and we ended up heading out because of weather. Have eaten some already and it is goooood.

    snow.

    Can anyone tell me how much snow did the Black Mountain area end up getting on Oct.22nd?? When we went out that morning there was none and by 2:00 we had about 10 inches. Had to get camp out as it was snowing hard and we didn't what it would be like by morning.

    Cabelas outfitter boots are worth the money my cousin has two pair and wears them all fall and winter. MYSELF well I was sick and tired of blisters and went with the Danner ELk Hunters. Best boot I have ever had. Wear like iron. The ones I have are warm so if the season is early the 200 gram...

    Looks great. Did you do the Boiled skulls yourself? I did an elk but used bleach and now am told not to use bleach. I guess bleach was the thing to use then.

    Maybe I could just borrow one or both of your packs. Really though I am open to ideas on packs. Is the Sportsmans one on a web somewhere?

    Now I can't deceide if I should get a day pack or one with an internal or external frame. I do need a day pack for the smaller stuff. Ideas and suggestions are very much needed.
