My dad has one like that that he made himself. Driven by his inability to throw anything away that could still be useful and two boys who consistently (mis)used it as a chisel or pry bar. He shortened the handle after we broke it with a hammer and then shortened the shaft once we broke the tip...
I've loaded them with marginal results. I've had the caps crack if I crimp too hard, and if I don't crimp enough the capsules will shift whether I keep them in speed loaders, strips, or just in my pocket.
I thought if I load them again, I might add a bit of super glue to the capsule to retain...

I have one of these and like it so far. I don’t have a lot of rounds on it, it’s basically new to me, but it should work well and isn’t bulky at all.
