I have two 6mm’s and a .223. All are very accurate. My niece used one 6mm for several years and took 3 cow elk and 3-4 whitetail with it. I ttok it back for my son to use. He’s taken a few antelope and whitetail with it.
Well, you still have time to buy preference points if you still can. I’m done with that nonsense as Buffalo and goats don’t use the point system. Only thing left to hope for is antelope.
I’ve been lazer-focused on A-series Sakos for the past 20 years. I just bought a Lipsey’s Ruger 77 ABR in 9.3x62. It will become my foul weather, kill everything carbine. A 1400.00 thunder thumper. Make that 1800. If I give AK Arms some business.
We didn’t have a rifle. My dad borrowed his uncle‘s 721 Remington in .270 with a cutts compensator and a K4 Weaver. That was a death ray on antelope, which is all we ever hunted, it seemed. My dad never practiced with that gun just went out and filled everybody’s tags- his, mom‘s,grandma‘s...

Howdy,
I picked up one of these to become my bomb proof/ bring anywhere/ any condition/ any big game rifle. I’ve always wanted to try the 9.3, so here I go. I’ve loaded up a 100 PPU cases with 286 gr SP PPU and some 275 gr Mo. bullet co. Coated cast bullets. Trying varget, cfe223 and RL...
All of them. I’ve shot my Sako carbines- .308 and .338 twice in the past two years..2 shots, two cow elk. There is something wrong with this picture. The ignored leader is the AR-50 I won 7 years ago. It remains unfired. Scoped, ammo, no bipod (only excuse) unfired.
I will, plan was to get him today, but we got involved with another home project. Looks like Tuesday.
I’ll keep an eye out for lefty carbines in serious calibers!
