    CO application hunters ed question

You are the man! Thank you. That FAQ does spell out to use the date and state of issuance (as you said). Really appreciate that!!

    CO application hunters ed question

Well, the OTC I got was purchased from wally-world from a girl that probably didn't even know they sold licenses, so if you had been there, it wouldn't have been much of a shock 😂

    CO application hunters ed question

Thanks! I do still have my card, but when you are applying for licenses online, CO P&W asks for your education type (Firearm Certified, Test 50, or Bow Certified), and your Education Number (which I don't have since the old school cards weren't numbered). Also asks for country and state, which...

    CO application hunters ed question

Hey All, I am from PA. Going to apply for CO this spring... my question is: I took hunters ed 20 years ago, when we got an orange card and no number on it. (I still have my original card). What do you all do in this situation when applying for CO and they ask for that information? Fwiw, I...

    Knight wolverine?

I did not. I really like the ease of cleaning on the new break barrel designs... cleaning blackpowder was always one thing I hated back when I shot YHEC, so anything that will make it easier is probably what I'm going to go for.

    Knight wolverine?

Why the switch, Walkathon? Ease of cleaning, as others have mentioned? That's one big downside, it seems. I guess I'm just trying to figure out if I should buy that, or if it's really no better than some of the other break style inlines on the current market.

    Knight wolverine?

Thanks man! For the price, I figured it would be hard to go wrong. I know there are a lot of poor quality guns for that price... seems like this would be a step up, but didn't know anything about them

    Knight wolverine?

Hey all, Been around muzzleloaders, use to shoot them back in the day in YHEC, etc. Hunted a few times with one, etc. Planning to hunt Colorado 2021 for elk, probably muzzleloader. Was just googling some and decided to check out Knight (shot a knight one time back in the day shooting YHEC...

Talk me out of bumping elk!

Seems like sound advice. I had thought about doing some still hunt style "drives". Sounds like we will just have to play it by ear. I've heard several times about staying mobile (don't get too committed to one "spot" just because we packed in), that also seems sound. I don't put a ton of...

Talk me out of bumping elk!

Colorado. I have a couple spots that we are interested in hunting, I'd say Steamboat "area", a bit north and south depending on where we end up going. I'm in decent shape as far as cardio, dad isn't as much but decent shape for being 66. I guess I'm anticipating that we will glass some, and...

Talk me out of bumping elk!

Hi guys, real newbie here where elk are concerned (1st timers here). I've been planning a trip since last fall, and it's crunch time. 9 days until my dad and I go west. We are doing a public land, self guided hunt. I have done as much e scouting as I can... the area dad wants to go (he...

    Garmin inreach HuntView questions

Combining the inreach with an SD card for on-x really would be great. Kind of a no brainer, really

    Garmin inreach HuntView questions

Yeah, seems it isn't very popular. I don't doubt that on-x is superior in use and features, especially with aerial views and some of the map layers. I kind of planned to e scout with on-x... just seems like if the HuntView map works well with land boundaries and has usable other features it...

    Garmin inreach HuntView questions

Yeah, those are good advice but I'm going to be carrying the inreach everywhere already, plus it has a MUCH longer battery life than my phone. So if I can use the maps on that, it seems like an advantage. Has anyone actually used the HuntView maps??
