    What dies do you use?

    Hey Shakey, Welcome to Moosies! Can those Wilson dies be used in a standard (Rockchucker) press? Or is it all hand work? Give us an idea of how long it takes to load a 100 br cartidges. What's your best 5 shot group? What was your best group before Wilson dies?

    How many rounds of steel shot?

    Greek, I bought a Benelli SBE in '94 that gets about 500 rnds (Two cases) of 3 1/2" #2 steel, every year. 3500 rnds of steel so far. I use an I.C. factory choke and it still patterns great. As I see it, the plastic wad takes the abuse, not the choke.

    Back up rifle for big game hunts

    I always take two. One is Win Mdl 70 30-06 with a 165grn gameking, and 3x9 leup. The other is a Savage 99 Lever in .308 with a 180grn partition, and 2x7 leup. with QR mounts and iron sights. Stand hunt with the Win and still hunt with the Savage. Covers all the bases for me.

    WHICH 22 ? WHAT SCOPE?

    Take a look at the new Thomson/Center semi. 22. I haven't shot one yet but it looked really good at the gun show. They are just now becoming available. The new BRNO/CZ bolt action looked real nice for the money too. It handles like a full size rifle. Had nice wood also.

    Hornady "Light Magnum" Test Results

    Nice job Nodak. Hey guys, There's a couple of really good articles on the Lilja Barrel website. One is about optimizing a .308. The other is about a 40-something inch long 30-378 barrel that he tests, then cuts an inch off, then tests, then cuts, test, cut, test, cut....... Very interesting.
