I'm burning 13 elk points this year, and plan to burn deer points in 2027. Then on to burning Wy and MT points, it's been the plan all along to have these points to burn in early retirement years!- Elkoholic

Hard on the Body, Easy on the Mind
@Gerald Martin , the thread title is accurate! That was probably the hardest 6 straight days of hunting I've done, this old body needed some recovery afterwards. Great times, great friends and great memories - let's do it again! I'm healed up, and can feel my toes again - so off to Wy. I go... -
What are your 2025 Hunting Plans
It's not my moose tag, I'll help a buddy (his Mom has the tag) out if I can get free'd up. Basically same area as you mentioned, my buddy is very familiar with the area as well.- Elkoholic

A few weeks ago I picked up a 2016 Tundra Limited w/ 128k miles on it, did a rear seat delete, put some Cooper Stronghold AT's on it, and changed the oil today. She's ready to head west in two weeks!- Elkoholic

Would you fish if you had to release all fish?
Spring/summer/fall I'd fish as normal, but would no longer ice fish, ice fishing is were I put the majority of my fish in the freezer.- Elkoholic

WY elk 2025 draw results
Should be a busy week in Oct., two buddies drew LE Bull tags and both got cow tags as well. I picked up a cow tag in same unit. My first year with 2 elk tags (Wy & Mt), and retired now, life is very good!- Elkoholic
