Cow Elk Hunting Tactics
Any advice for September archery cow elk? Obviously unlikely for there to be significant snow early September in Montana. Habitat, terrain, etc? Thanks!- easternarcher

Montana cow tags
I have a 004-00 tag and am brand new to elk hunting (as my username suggests, used to chasing whitetails out east). I'm limited to BMA/BLM/state/private land with this tag. Looking to archery hunt in just a few weeks, any advice on habitat I should be focusing on? happy hunting all- easternarcher
