Boo to Scheels
Does Utah have different laws, or maybe something in general I don't know. Buying a long gun, shouldn't matter where your are, correct? I was at a Scheel's in NE over Christmas, I am CO resident. As far as the quiet ones go, I have only been around the Honda 2000. It is listed as 53db, the Champion listed above also says 53db. A buddy of mine bought a Yamaha and said it is about the same loudness as a Honda for a little less money. If the Champion at Costco is only $480, I might have...- drtdeer

John- That's kind of what I figured, thanks. For those in Western states that have Big 5 Sporting Goods, they have the Axis XP in .223 on sale for $339 until 12/24. Might have to get one, been wanting a .223 for coyotes and such. -

Anyone know the difference between the Axis and the Axis XP? Couldn't really tell by looking at their website. -
what brand thermal underwear do you use?
core4element moreno wool, boxers and 1/4 zip top, also have some dufold polyprop bottoms, all good stuff, been worn many times, comfy and handles many wearings and washings- drtdeer

Logo gear
i like the gray beenie and the fleece vest everyting looks good. i like to wear ball caps, but need the unsturctured type, while the ones you show aren't crazy tall, they still look goofy on my skinny head, so i vote for an unstructured ball cap- drtdeer
