Hey there Folks:
Was hoping someone might be able to share their experience in Fairbanks. I'm headed to the slope for Caribou this season, and we've been trying to find someone that would has freezer space for rent to get everything frozen before the flight back, or worst case a butcher that...
These are all beautiful creatures. I'm headed to AK for a 'bou hunt in 2021.. Curious how you guys were able to preserve your hides? Was it cold enough to just flesh it and hang? (I'm anticipating 40's..) Did you flesh and salt the hide? Turn ears and split lips & nose....? Curious how far down...
Hey Folks,
Hoping for some help. I've been told not to bring gas fuel to the North Slope as it doesn't burn well. Does anyone have experience directly to validate? I'd prefer not to buy another stove if I don't have to..
I've been scouring the pages on here and see various people have...
Hey Damon, Wondering if you've had any luck finding a spot to drop your 8 part blog? Starting to plan one for next year for my father-in-laws bucket list hunt for his 60th and trying to dig up any tips that we can get.
Hey Guys, My father-in-law requested that we do an Alaska Caribou hunt for his 60th in 2021. Was hoping some of you guys who have been up there recently could give us some direction on good pilots that you've used to get in to an OTC unit. We are looking to do a DIY with the exception of the...

I'm a saddle hunter from MI and won't go back to traditional tree stands. My last 3 deer I would not have
I agree the initial setup is a bit on the expensive side, way easier to leverage one for multiple stand locations. Which to me is one of the main perks. I can setup 15 stand locations with...
No doubt here. I have the virtually the same rifle and I have a hard time getting the third shot off without flinching. I've started bringing a .22 or .223 and alternating between them so that I can trick my mind away from flinching.
Great rifle, if I wasn't already setup I'd be sending a PM.
Cheers for all the tips guys. Still have some fliers to dial in, but shooting monumentally better. 12 shot grouping with 4 fliers.(All shooter related)
Really appreciate the tips. All of the books I have talk about comfortable shooting position but not natural point of aim.
