WY Unit 20 Help!
I had a dandy buck in my scope at 325 yards, but couldn't shoot him because of the doe directly behind him. I watched for several minutes and when I moved to get a better angle they busted me! I had to watch them run away! I ended up with a pretty exciting stalk on a smaller buck the next day.- Doodah Bach

Camp Chef Smoke Vault
Has anyone used one of these? I am looking into buying a new smoker, and am leaning toward the 24" Vault. The reviews are mostly good, some with modification suggestions (needle valve, new smoke tray, etc). What do y’all think?- Doodah Bach

First timer, Wyoming bound!
Found out yesterday that my buddy and I both drew Pronghorn tags in WY! Neither of us have ever hunted antelope or Wyoming before, so we are both pretty stoked. Now its wait and see if I draw a KS tag as well.....- Doodah Bach

$32 fee WY after the draw??
They give you the choice to pay when you apply, or after a successful draw, if I remember correctly. I got the $12.50 charge after I drew my antelope tag.- Doodah Bach

Kings Camo XKG or First Lite Guide
I'm looking to update my hunting gear, and I'm wondering what y'all think. I know that the Meateater crew has preached First Lite, but side-by-side comparison (online) the King's Camo XKG and FL's Guide series look and cost about the same. Better than a tag sandwich
The weather was beautiful (terrible for hunting). 70° sunny, blue bird days. I helped a brand new hunter bag his first deer....a nice 5x4 muley. How do you sight in your guns?
You do have a little holdover at 400, but I guess I assumed anyone who has shot that kind of distance would know that. I shoot .308, and my holdover is the top of the back at 400 (13.5 in.) JUST COULDN'T HOLD OUT!
I told myself the same thing last year . . . even passed on a nice buck that I watched bed down, because he wasn't the boomer I'd seen trailcam pics of.
