No tags for me again but having a good time guiding new hunters. Helped a friend’s son kill his first elk last season. He drew the same tag again this year. Killed his second elk from the same overlook 25 minutes into opening day. One shot, 125 yards.
Since I can’t seem to draw any tags in the US my cousin and I booked a boar hunt in Cape York, Queensland. Amazing experience! This was my best boar. We were watching a big croc in this pond when the boar came down to water on the backside. He of course, ran out into the pond to die. Haha!

Problem is that multiple studies have shown that culling "inferior" bucks has no effect on outcomes because does contribute the genes that define antler characteristics.
