Fleeced In Seattle
I’m 30min. N. of downtown. No one I know goes into Seattle without a specific reason, like going to an event or symphony etc. Many factors. Prices, safety, congestion/hassle, crime. In most areas I think it is basically safe, but why deal with the above factors when there are better alternatives.- Clam

Flying with a rifle - Is this a change at Alaska Air?
On Alaska I had to have non TSA locks, I bought a pack of master keyed padlocks. (Like other have said, TSA locks are basically useless and master keys are easy to get and there are many theives.) you will go with the official and open your case when checking it in. Arrive early.- Clam

To cut or not to cut, that is the question. Suppressor & Barrel Length
The problem I found with using a suppressor on PD’s is that in high volume shooting, the suppressor gets hot very fast and throws my accuracy off. In lower volume situations, they are great. I cut some of my varmint barrels to accommodate suppressors, others I left unthreaded. My opinion is... -

How about renting an excavator with a thumb? Plucking a 6” pine shouldn’t take a very large machine. if you have an experienced operator it can go pretty fast.- Clam

I have to agree, putting them in jail isn’t optimal, However, what about the cost to society and the economy overall? The graffiti, trash, pooping all over the place, theft, hard drugs, etc.? A growing problem
An additional component is the breakdown/absence of the traditional family structure. i agree, drugs and overly generous handouts are certainly big contributors. Here in the Puget sound area they are housing the homeless drug addicts and mentally ill in hotels- adding more rooms all the time...- Clam

That sounds great! I wish I had more opportunity to use my .300 BLK on deer. My son and I shoot ragged hole groups at 50 yds with it (V-max 110’s and Lil gun). -
