Illinois Turkey Hunters, I need some assistance
I have a meeting in Chicago in April on the 9th and 10th. While I'm there thought I would try to hunt in Illinois the remainder of the week. I checked the season dates on the DNR's web page. The Southern Zone has an open season the 9th-13th and one from the 14th-19th. I could hunt 10th-14th. How...- chris c

Any .257 Roberts fans out there?
I have a new to me Remington 700 Mtn. rifle chambered in .257 Roberts. I'm waiting on dies, can't wait to start loading some for this cartridge. My initial load will be: Winchester cases, WLR primer, Nosler 100 gr. Ballistic tip and IMR 4350. What do you guys think? Anybody else using another...- chris c

Black bear on a budget
I would like some advice on black bear hunting. I have a strong desire to try bear hunting this fall but I'm on a fixed budget and can only afford about $1000.00.
