Abilty to perform the maintenance yourself is a big deal for college housing. Kids will tear shit up. Don't have to worry about vacancies and with student loans givin out like halloween candy you can charge a premium.- buckbull

I had a stihl that did a similar thing. It wouldnt start after getting hot. Would have to let it cool down first. It was one of their homeowner saws, i think a 170. I assume the smoke is coming from the muffler and not the bar. Maybe there is machining oil left that is burning? Correct oil/ gas ratio?- buckbull
