Ruger #1 crack
The fore arm stock started to crack. My father in law just gave it to me. It's a 22-250. Flaw in the wood? Is there a good stock maker to go with to replace it? Thanks- blackbeard

Do you remember your first?
My uncle taught me when I was 13. 270 wsm. Still got the gun and some of the brass. Parents got me a Lee kit that was super cheap and made thousands of rounds. It's all been majorly upgraded over the 25 years.- blackbeard

Woodworking Hunt Talkers?
Black walnut. They didn't crack some shrank, they've been drying with the bark on for about a year before I cut them. Applied about 4 coats of lacquer a side. I'm in Clear Lake.- blackbeard
