New rifle suggestions
I have two favorites. My go to is a Rem 700 7mm Mag for elk and muley's here in CA and the mountain states. I will also shoot a Rem 700 .270 Win. I am big on Rem 700's. It's mostly personal choice and where your hunting. But then again....I have rifles that I never hunt with and wouldnt get...- Birdman707

Rabbit and Squirrel Closing
So the season for tree squirrel and rabbit is closing in a few weeks here in CA. I have done my fair share of hunting both over the years. I have found the squirrels hear in Del Norte. Jumped on the 6.5 Creedmoor Wagon
I have the Savage Model 10 in 6.5 CM. It is fun to shoot but way to heavy to pack around. Setting up blinds for coyote though is a different story. (y)- Birdman707

Thanks for the advice Marv. I've heard about the grows. Shame. I will be packing the bear tag for sure. I make sure to do that every time while hunting C and X1 and X4. To many times I've come across bear while hunting and couldnt take it. Starting getting that tag after the third time. lol.- Birdman707
