I went the last couple of years it was at Rosenblatt and haven’t been since it moved. That atmosphere around Rosenblatt was pretty special with everyone having parties in their yards, Starsky’s bar, etc. I remember being in an old church that they had turned into a bar and had a band playing in.
I don't mean to be a downer, but when I hear that landowners aren't participating in these types of access agreements, it doesn't surprise me. If landowners care about having healthy populations of game animals around their property, they probably aren't going to want to let the neighboring...
I disagree that people that don’t think we should drive in those places will continue not to if it becomes legal. People don’t want to miss out or be at a disadvantage. “That person drove right up to their elk or deer, why should I pack mine out a mile on my back?”

That’s an interesting point that I hadn’t thought of. Last fall I was talking to a rancher that runs cows on a place that isn’t his own. The landowner lives in another state and also gave the rancher control of the hunting access. The place borders some checker board BLM that touches the county...

I realize I’m probably stating the obvious, but I’d make sure and talk to someone who has flown into that area recently to see if they had a good hunt or not. I’m a local and in 2014 or 15 I flew into the area where I’m guessing you are planning to go. We saw very few elk on public and the whole...
