No, I’d certainly have an interest in hunting them. On the other hand, even if we established a new herd in eastern MT that I knew I could never hunt, it would bring me some joy just knowing they were there. It will be a sticky situation. Everyone wants to see more sheep on the landscape, but a lot of hunters are only seriously interested in more sheep if they have the ability to eventually have a chance to hunt those sheep.- bigsky2

Rangefinders that don’t suck
I’ve been pretty disappointed with my Sig this year too. The angle compensation seems to be working at times and other times it will be completely off. The other day I ranged a target at a known distance and my rangefinder was several hundred yards off. I had a foggy morning earlier this fall... -

Restoring color to Antlers
Do you change the water daily? I only degrease for about a week. Seems to be plenty for elk, but I can tell my deer skulls could stand to be degreased for longer. I change the water daily but doing it every day for months would be a pain.- bigsky2

I heard an influencer from MT mention on a podcast today that he has about 65 cameras out. The model of camera he uses is about $140. That’s $9100 just for the cameras.
