January NM rut hunt?
So its getting close to January and I'm headed to NM to meet up with a buddy and chase some deer around in Unit 21 with the stick and string. Looking for ANY info on the unit, the deer population, or really anything. Never hunted NM, never been to this area, just seeing if anyone has been down... -

Cody, thanks a ton for the info!! Very much appreciated. Very glad to hear we may actually see a deer or two. I'm planning on sending my buddy out to do some scouting and when we get there it will be boots on the ground and put on the miles hoping to find one of those pockets. -
