Year round Coyote hunting - Yes or No????
I've killed enough coyotes in my life that it wouldn't bother me if ai never killed another. I usually start hunting about mid Oct and hunt until about the first of March. The theory behind this is that the closer you load the cases to max capacity the more consistent your powder ignition will be. Hand Call preference
I use Lohman and Sceery closed reed, the Sceery cow in heat open reed, and a Cronk Howler. The howler is great for barks, yelps, and howling and the cow in heat call works great for any other sounds I want to make. For a basic rabbit in distress I like the closed reed calls mentioned.- AzKiote

Favorite caliber for coyotes and bobcats
I've used a 22-250, several .243's, and a few other calibers for them. Right now I'm using a Ruger M77 MKII in .223 and I like it. Easy on fur, accurate and fun to shoot, and ammo/brass are cheap to get. If I'm calling open country sometimes I take my .243.- AzKiote

Broadhead weights

Scent absorbing clothing

Elevation
I live a 4500' elevation and I remember one time we went hunting at 9200' for elk and we all had to re-sight our bows cause they all shot about 6" low at 30 yards. We all had our beliefs as to why but nothing we could prove. I would just make sure you try your bow when you get there. Take care,
