Ground blinds vs Tree Stands in Dry States

I just wanted to see if any of you have had success hunting mule deer in some of the drier states (AZ, NM, UT) in Ground blinds near water holes or tree stands?

G5 Montec's for me. 3 shots have equaled 2 bulls and a fat old mule deer. I also love the fact that you can purchase practice blades that are the same dimension and weight as the blade you will hunt with
It's so sad how hard it is as a non resident to draw a great limited entry elk tag in Utah. Looks like they took more away from the non resident pool.

I think I'm going to head down first week of August and scout the east side and south side. Looks like there are a ton of roads to glass from on east side, I just wonder how much are private.
