    I have no experience with those rifles or that powder, but here is my 2 sense. A cow elk is gonna give you around $1500 worth of meat. Is an extra $10 a pound on powder worth it when the opportunity comes ? I’d go with something that is temp stable and consistent.

    7 PRC and Magnum Powder

    I had good luck with magnum, using magnum primers, and 162 ELDX. I think I was using 71 ish grains ???? I have switched to Grand because of better availability and it being more temp stable.
