Finally Own a 270 Winchester…….
I also have a 84L classic select. It shoots 150 partitions and Speer Grand Slams very well. I shoot all of the loads with RL 22 when I can get it. N560 sounds like a great option. -

Whats your most accurate rifle?
When I do my part I have 5 rifles hunting rifles that shoot under and 1 to .75 of an inch at 100 yards. My most recent is a Tikka in 6.5 creed more,two Kimber Classic selects that are in 270 and 300WM, a Forbes 24 (predecessor to the Fieldcraft) in a 270. The most accurate is a SAKO 85 in 30/06... -

Your favorite 06 load for elk?
165 grain Hornady Interbond with 56.5 of RL 17, CCI 200 Win brass. Average over the magneto speed is 2870 fps from a 22.4 inch SAKO 85. Sweet load, 4 elk with 3 complete pass throughs. Very accurate load in the SAKO. -

Nosler vs federal
I hunt with the Interbonds and love them. They are accurate in my rifles and have great terminal performance. Hornady has had a problem keeping them in supply. I Need Some Honest Opinions
