Fallow buck
We first spotted this buck about 3 weeks previously in a wheat field, he was with 4 other prickets and bucks. We noticed he was limping. Another fallow youngster for the freezer.
So we went out with the intention of getting a nice palmated fallow buck before they cast for the year.. Got to our permission. Met my hunting buddy and a plan was hatched. What are you guys paying for gas?
You think you guys have it bad. Try the UK Diesel today when I filled up £1.26.9 per litre. So times that by 4.55 to get a gallon(UK gallon not US), times that by around 1.40. Rough exchange rate. Wait for it.... $8.08 per gallon.- 243varmint

Not enough deer being shot in the UK
The biggest trouble we have is the 'management' of the deer isn't done over a large scale area. Like the guys have said. All individual landowners can let people manage te deer how they see fit. First fallow of 2021
Cheers Richard. Goes towards paying the rent 😏 The fallow have had a good 18 months, need a few more taken off but with the lockdown it's hard to sell them on. Looks like we'll have to have loads of sausages and burgers for the summer. Cheers Jon- 243varmint
