Is it 30mm, matte? I forgot to mention that part. I think all vxIII are 30mm now, but didnt used to be. Not positive though.

It's got a 1" tube.

Not all VXIII are 30 mm now. Only those that are LR, which means instead of the AO they have a focus knob on the side of the tube. Still plenty of VXIII scopes with just 1inch tubes. I just sold a Vari - x III 4.5-14 x 40mm with a 1 inch tube, about 6 years old, on ebay for $405. Replaced it with the new VX3.
