Alright, so the "Internet Giant" AOL bought out Mailblocks.com. I had all my Email going through Mailblocks. I got "0" spam and I loved it. NOW, they are shutting it down so they said Set up an AIM account. I transfered all my contacts over and what nots. I also Coppied ot all my old Emails to a Temp Outlook directory. I have a Few Questions about AIM though.

1. Can I have my Other accounts go through it ? (Like [email protected] , webmaster@huntandlodge, Etc. like I did with MAilblocks ? ) I'd love all my filtered acounts to go through there. I gues I could jsut use the one Email account. Probably better anyways ?

2. How do the Catagories work ? I imported all my Email Addy's and they fall under the "NO Catagory". I need to catagorize them but if I don't sort from 1st to last I don't know which ones are already in a Catagory ? I can't choose the "NO catagory" option to see if I missed any. (MAke sense ? )

3. MAilblocks filtered out all Spam 100%. If the person wasn't on my list it sent them an Email saying before I even see it they need to put in some Numbers and Letters in the Encription. If they didn't I never saw it. Sure it was a Pain the first go around for some but once the Email was in the list it worked NIFTY !!. How does the AIM filter work ? Similar ?

Thanx in Advance. I hate Change ...... |oo

I have MSN IM, I'm guessing I need to load up AIM now ? |oo

When I first bought a computer, I used AOL, because it was free for a year, and I didn't know any better. I didn't like the fact that they took it upon themselves to edit my emails, to figure out what was spam, or objectionable. When I changed, I kept the AIM service just to bull shit with some of my buddies. I kept getting all kinds of spam, eventually I got rid of the AIM, trying to figure where the spam was coming from...and it disappeared. Same with REALPLAYER, REALPLAYER has right in the agreement that 3 rd party cookies will be attached. Got rid of that too, and I don't miss either one.
