New Rule: The more complicated the Starbucks order, the bigger the
a-hole. If you walk into a Starbucks and order a "decaf grande
half-soy, half-low fat, iced vanilla, double-shot, gingerbread
cappuccino, extra dry, light ice, with one Sweet-n'-Low and one
NutraSweet," ooh, you're a huge a-hole.

I saw this in a Joke and About laughed my Arse off. I drive by the Moxi Java place on state street in Boise sometimes while getting my Morning BK breakfast and these Fuggin Yuppi Cell phone talking , Black berry Typin', Apple MAc Laptop toatin' Chitheads are sitting outside with their $8 cup of Frapachino looking around to see who is looking at them.

Those Guys and Gals should ALL get Kicked in their DING DINGS !!!!!!

that being said... fess up Hunttalkers, How many of you are those people .... How many go to Starbucks or Moxi Java Places ?!?!?

I confess to the occasional Mocha. My order usually goes like this: "16 ounce mocha, please."
Oscar, this thread remined me of a funny site...check this out:http://www.illwillpress.com/

click on tunes tab and then Coffee House Propaganda and Small, Medium, Large hell...they're all funny

I hit Starbucks on a regular basis. Usually just get a lg coffee, but spring for a Mocha once in a while.

LG ? There is no such thing as a Large a-CON,... It's a Vente'. A Medium is a Grande' and a Small is a tall.

A tall is a $3 Urin size sample.

Vente' isn't even a Word it's a Tuti Fruity word used to make the Vannilla moxi white moco thinggy drinkers to make them feel sophisticated. I hope they choke on a Biscate'.... :D

Never been to a Starbucks. I get my coffee at the Wawa's that are on every other corner around here. Just a regular coffee, don't want no Mocha flavor, Vanilla flavor or any flavor other than COFFEE FLAVOR, with a donut.

I'm a huge espresso fan, I worked at a small coffee shop my whole way through college, so I tend to order some somewhat messed up drinks. I'm not a big starbucks fan being as I worked at a small independent shop and saw them as the huge, corporate giant. They do make a good drink however, they are consistent and usually very smooth. I was just in a Moxie Java down in Boise about two weeks ago, not a bad place I liked it and they made me a darn good drink. I go to a shop about everyday up here, kind of a morning ritual, plus the help is easy on the eyes.

I am far from cultured, surprise, surprise. Anyway now that I am down south, I have to go to the coffee shop with the family every morning. Little pressure for me, but I ordered a mocha the first morning. I was feeling as if I pawned myself off as knowing what I was doing and then I hear, "how would you like it"? Oh shit, now what? How about in a cup. |oo

Since then it has been coffee, black and in that biggest cup. Don't look at me funny or I will slap the shit out of you. :BLEEP: :D

For a guy thats makes fun of real men who drink real coffee, you sure know a lot about Starbucks, Moosie !

You wouldn't be one of thoses closet expresso drinkers ?

The fact is, once you get used to good coffee ( arabica & expresso), that (robusto) crap you get at most places is pizz water, like drinking near beer.

Besides that, the babes they hire at Starbucks are (usually) hotter than the coffee, can you say that about the pimpel faced kid at burger queen ?

Moosie, don't make me log on to M.M. and pledge $20 to their littel project !
hump :D :D

Acon... go watch Erik's link video's ... I was Writing as they were talking. Fetching FUNNY !!!!!

PS, I don't drink coffee. Can't stand the FOOFOO stuff, Can't stand the straight stuff. I'm a Coke and Shake guy :D

ya ya ya , the Starbucks gift card you begged for is in the mail !

Merry Christmas Oscar, from me and all our friends at at MM.

Ok, I am a barista, and applying for a job at starbucks and Moosie's generalism is correct, the more complex the order, the bigger jerk the customer is.
However, the "decaf grande half-soy, half-low fat, iced vanilla, double-shot, gingerbread cappuccino, extra dry, light ice, with one Sweet-n'-Low and one NutraSweet," is not even a drink. An iced cappuccino is an iced latte, people just dont know that. You cannot put foamed milk over ice, it does not work. Let me break down the drink for you :
An extra dry grande soy, nonfat, cappuccino with one sweet 'n' low, one nutrasweet and vanilla/gingerbread
you have the sweeteners in the bottom of the cup because they blend better, then the vanilla/gingerbread, then the two shots of espresso and then the rest of the up is filled with foamed soy and non fat milk. But if Hanna (my favorite person to work with is making drinks) it is done with 2% and the person doesn't know the difference.
Personally I enjoy a 16 oz. almond roca mocha, w/ whip aboput 135* (drinkable) or a 16 oz. iced caramel mocha with whip.

Grande Javachip Frappucino for me. I've simply come to the conclusion that Starbucks laces each one with a little crack to keep you coming back for more. (Would also help explain the price. :D )
