What to do in Helena

The Gates of the Mountain are pretty cool. If the OP is familiar with the Mann Gulch fire and the corresponding book "Young Men and Fire," you can take a boat up the gates to Mann gulch and hike up and see the memorials where each firefighter died.

Gates of the Mtns is a must

Dinner at Lucca's is also always something I enjoy. Best food in Helena by far in my opinion.

A hike up refrigerator canyon followed by a cold beer and burger at the York Bar makes for a good afternoon.
