140 grams of synthetic down insulation.
I think the color is called charcoal. That's all that is left.
Mark down to $39.99.
Pursuit which is a company from Drake waterfowl clothing.
Just curious how it would compare to some of the high-end expensive stuff.

Buy it, you're not out much if you don't think it performs. have a link? I might buy one. :)

I really have no idea what a performance standard is for a synthetic jacket though. THey're plastic they keep you warm, breath and dry out fast.

I easily have half a dozen puffy jackets or more, and have culled just as many including a few down ones. Most bought at closeout, and costs ranged from $50-250. My absolute favorite one is Brooks Range, followed by a Mountain Hardware. I paid $100-120 for each of them. I have a First Lite puffy, that is, by far, the worst puffy i've ever bought, and I think the most expensive too. The fit sucks, it soaks up water (like their pants), pockets are goofy, not much to like about it really.

Compare the insulation to others. If it fits I’d try it. Worst case can wear it at home or keep it in the truck for back up.

I was going to try some generic puffy. The fit wasn’t quite right for me though. I bought a Sitka. Very happy with it but only bought it because it was on a clearance rack.

I've got Mountain Hardware, Arc'teryx, and Stone Glacier Grumman. The SG is my favorite for cold weather. EuroOptic has some SG on 50% closeout right now...
