First we were hiking along the Crooked at Smith Rock (OR) and my oldest daughter took the moment to announce to us that we have a grandson coming for the first time (I’ve got three daughters and two granddaughters)

Then the youngest daughter called and said she was done waiting to see what her college team was going to do about the basketball season (she’s in Vancouver BC) because a rival school just offered her a full ride... signing day!

Thanks man! Yep, a little bit of beer just might be flowing tonight when we get back from the basalt!
Just got our keys to our new place on Tuesday as well....been a HELL of a week lol

Sweet!! What a cutie, I know we all talk of our hunting exploits but hands down being a good parent and having your kids respect and appreciate what you've done for them trumps it all...can't wait for the next little guy in February (and all I'll have to rearrange is possibly Spring goose season lol)!
