Waterfowl Hunting Near Colorado Springs?

Any ducks or geese to chase on public land near the springs?
I'm assuming one would have to drive around an hour or more to be in birds.

That message was when @WestKyHunt moved to Colorado briefly and was unrelated to duck hunting in Colorado as I have no knowledge of that.

Join some local FB groups if possible.
If you have experience in waterfowling focus on big water. You could also travel NE and hit up any water in the prairies.
There are some famous places S and W of you as well.

Joseph_B, new hunter out here in the springs as well, looking to make my first hunt this weekend. Have you gone out and found any places around the springs?
