Warm coat?

I just got the new kuiu super down pro jacket, supposed to be -10 tonight so I figured it would be a good test to go coyote hunting. Has anyone else tried any of the kuiu super down stuff? Is it as warm as they say? I guess I’ll find out tonight..

Well I only went out for one set (about 30 min), but as far as the coat goes it seems pretty warm. It was -15 and I didn’t get cold so, so far so good. I’ll need to use it a few more times to get a fair assessment but I think it’s going to be my new “go to” cold weather coat. It amazed me that something so light can be that warm.

I’d be interested to know how it compares to some of the synthetics. I’m in the market for something warmer.
