This is what a lot of the little valley's look like that I ended up crossing after the snow melted off from them...
You can barely see an old barn towards the other end of the park in the valley in this one
You can see the park far off in the distance, I did see a few elk on these hills, but definitely not as many as will be here in the late summer when every one comes back from their wintering grounds...
This beaver pond was interesting in that these guys had made their dam out of small logs bigger than a Moosies legs...
Most of the beaver ponds I usually come across have some logs 4", but most are made up of smaller stuff...
A couple of the biggest ponds in the area were probably 200' across and who knows how 6-8' deep...
These guys had pretty much logged the entire area out and will probably be gone from this area in just a couple/few years...
