video trailer for web page

I ned to put out a video trailer for my new Hound Dog Crazy DVD that's going to be out in October. I did one last night in Windows movie program and it's 800 kb..then saved it as a web file. Does anybody have any expertise on attching trailers to a web page.....htm codes or how to information? Any help would be appreciated.

Ike,
you should be able to just put your file on you web page and when someone clicks it , it will open automatically if they have the plug-ins on there software.

the problem with having them open on the html and running them is dial ups will take for ever to load.

My advise is to grab a few screen shots and screen capture them in the minimized video window then put the code so when they click on that picture its opens for them in a new window.

Kinda like what porn sites do... errr um not that I goto porn sites
