I've made meatballs once with bobcat but totally drowned out the meat in other stuff so this time I decided to give bobcat a real try. Had some buddies over. Watch to see what the verdict is on bobcat meat!

I think my problem was I trapped it in the morning, it bounced around in the back of the side by side till almost dark, then sat in my garage for a couple hours while I ate dinner and skinned some fox, then I skinned it, fleshed it, and put the fur on the stretcher. Then we cut the meat out. It was an afterthought to eat it so the field care of the meat may have had something to do with it.I cooked some down last year into carnidas meat and did tacos with it. Even the guys at work who dont hunt liked it. was similar to mt. lion very lean white meat slightly stringy.
