NEMONT, remember the country I hunt is steep and brushy. You don't need binos for extreme distances (if it'd take you two days to get there). I know what quality optics look like to look through, I've had Leupold scope (M55 4X) on my rifle for about 40 years now. My sleeping bag/bed roll consists of an old canvas storm king bag with a wool blanket insert (works fine below 40). I'm fugal by necesity.

I wonder how much of Idahos financial problem is from a reduction in license and tag sales??????? Wonder if you'd ever get the f&g to admit it even if it was the case?????
