Totally clueless

My Dad took a 5gal. bucket and mounted a Lazy Susan to the top, then cut a circular piece of plywood
with a pad on top and mounted that on the Lazy Susan.Keeps shot shells, lunch etc. in the bucket.Easy to carry,
and you have a swivell seat to sit on and hunt. 〽💥
Those are sold for dove hunting all over the South. They come with a styrofoam cooler in. Better yet are the square ones with the folding back rest. The back rest makes a big difference. I've used them for ducks where possible.

I take a jet sled with me to contain decoys...wading out and picking up dekes.
Then I layout in the jet sled.
I like this setup because I have an extremely low profile in a shallow marsh and therefore my shots are typically very close.

I stack 2 jetsleds and my lab sits in the other jetsled with a ridgerest pad.
I like that because my lab is sitting 50 yards behind me and can mark each bird,
and stays relatively dry and warm sitting in the jet sled back in the willows.
After a few water retrieves, I walk back and turn over the lab's sled to drain while he is out retrieving.

When I layout in the jet sled, my river bag is my pillow.

Besides layout shooting and keeping the dog warm and dry,
jet sleds are useful for many things including hauling gear up to camp, catching bolts while changing the outboard water pump, hauling moose quarters, etc.
