The CBD has a rather offensive quote on Conservationists.

“People who consider themselves conservationists don’t consider trophy hunting conservation,” said Tanya Sanerib, international legal director for the Center for Biological Diversity. “It’s an elite, bourgeois activity.”

While I agree that if we're looking at Africa it is elite... but so are photo safari's.

I'm a proud trophy hunter. The trophy just isn't the antlers. It's the meat, antlers/horns, and most importantly the adventure.
