Star Dot Ported Choke Tube From Walmart

Who has tried out one of these new choke tubes that Walmart is selling? And how were the results?

If you find out something please post it in here. I am kinda curious about them also.

while the restricting of a barrels dia. is basicaly generic and most companies manufacture acceptable chokes i would still be interested in who acctually produces this choke for wal-mart before purchasing one then you can research that company....i use a kicks thundering gobbler choke myself....but as i stated earlier this is just my opinion!!

I looked at them last night and from what I can tell the one for a Mossburg 835 has the same choke , as the standard mossberg turkey choke, which is .695. This would be good for 4 or 5 shot.
I lean more towards 5's and 6's so I use a hastings in my 835 that is a .675 .

When I do use 4's I put the .695 back in.

I thought I seen .667 on the Star Dot for the 835.........

I checked them out last night at Wally World and the 835 is .695. I still haven't found out how they work.
