Just thinking of getting rid of a few guns, A friend of mine ran the Ser #. Apparently, some were recalled, not this one.

You had me excited- I'm always looking for a nice non-sporterized 1903 or 1917. Nice rifle though.

I used it when I was still in school, 50 some years ago, decided to clean out the gun cabinet and found guns that I forgot about, my new turkey gun is a Mossberg model 835, right there in the back of the cabinet.
Went out a couple of weeks ago with my daughter's boyfriend, sporting clays, (1st time for me), used my wife's 20 ga. Cleaning out the cabinet, a 16ga Stevens 311A double, sending out to get blued, my new sporting clay gun.
Didn't really clean out much but had a rummage sale last weekend and put out pics, sold a couple.
