"Southern" lake fisherman?

Anyone in here but the big lakes and reservoirs in the south? I'm officially addicted to chasing crappie, white bass and catfish here in North Texas!

I'd love to fish those waters someday. I've guided for warm water fish, mainly crappie and catfish, in NE Oregon for the last 17 years. We have good fishing but this country doesn't produce slab crappie consistently like the South does.

Typically fish Kentucky lake in TN every year and Rend Lake in southern IL for crappie.
Heading to Rend later this week.
