:eek: I went out yesterday to look for some thing to shoot. What I found was Fantastic! A peace of state land that was crawling with GOPHERS
and they acted like they were never shot at before(COOL!!).I took my 10/22 and MOAG! (mother of all guns)my 45/70. The 10/22 did most of the work, but I used MOAG for the long distant shots,over 100yds.Some were over 175,when MOAG erupted body parts flew!What a Great way to blow off 150 shells!!

oops! You are right they are Richardson's ground squirrels. In Montana we just call them gophers,they have short tails. We also have in the mountains Columbine ground squirrels they have long bushy tails :rolleyes:
