Anyone know what elevation snowshoe hare can be found nov and dec in Colorado?

I usually start getting into them in my spots about 8500 feet or higher.

Thanks. I’ve actually gone through this some. Good information. I’m going to be out near Buena Vista this weekend and gonna give it a go.

I've run into them at 8500 or so and higher. They live in burrows dug out of the slope in black timber usually about six feet or so deep with a short spur tunnel at the end which breaks off at a 90 degree angle.
