Shooting ball head?

I am considering getting a ball head for shooting off a tripod and looking for some advice. I understand RRS makes the premier option but I think theirs cost more than I want to spend. I was considering the sunwayfoto Xb-38 ($159) or the Slik PBH 45lp ($219). Both have load ratings of 44 lbs. I have been using a sirui VA-5 with a tri-clawps saddle for my kids up to this point, but I think the recoil may be damaging the clamp mechanism on the head. For reference I am a hunter and not a competition shooter.

I’ve been shooting off a Colorado tripod company small highline ball head with decent success. The one posted above is a better option though

Check out innorel on amazon for similar weight capacity. Cheapest decent option there probably is.
