My pal Glen Seekins sent me this rifle to T&E before the release date in July. It came with a 1-7” 20” carbon wrapped barrel, and a 1-8”.
I had some time to mount a scope, find zero and do a little shooting…
I’m not disappointed!
The very first load I shot was making one hole at 100 meters..

Today I had a chance to air it out before the storm front rolled in..I’m always a little Leary about rapid shot strings with carbon wrapped barrels, so this was the first test, a seven shot string as fast as I could work the 60 degree bolt…passed with flying colors. I’m liking this rifle a lot…

Confirmed the ballistics data with my Swaro EL Range binoculars using a .307 G7@3100fps with 90gr Atips. I expect the velocity will increase to be 75-100fps after I put 100 rounds or so through it.

What is the weight of it and do you have any idea of what price range it will be in?

The one thing that has held me back from seekins so far is the weight.

7.5 lbs, bare.

This one all up weighs 10.4 lbs with bipod, suppressor and a full 10 round mag. I have a 3-15X50 Tangent Theta scope on it that weighs 27oz.

Forgot to say that 7.5 is with a steel barrel, not carbon wrapped

That’s pretty phenomenal performance. Glad to hear Seekins is releasing the 22 Creed, I’ve been hearing about it for a while.
