Scouting Trip,,,,

,,,Is planned for tomarrow at Ft.Lewis

This will be the first time in about 20years that I'm going to hunt the Fort..Dad and I used to hunt there all the time, and got some nice deer off of it and I've shot a few bears as well(use to tick dad off with the bears,,,too dangerous for me to shoot without him to back me up he would say )

Quick Draw wants to hunt more areas her Grandpa and I hunted So this will be one more spot to put into her hunting book, and kill a deer or two in her Grandpas spots

I hope to hunt again where my Grandpa and Dad took me in SE Kentucky. Too many other things in the fire to atatempt that right now.

We didn't get out to the fort today to do some looking around,, but the area that we are looking at is bigger than I remember

We've seen deer from the road driving to Wal-Mart dang near everytime we go I think (if they have the area open) we should do alright

I thought I herd Ft Lewis "Bow Hunting Only", I think that is what I heard today from some of the Locals around here.

I work for a construction company and we sell most of our homes to Army and air force!

You can hunt with rifle, bow, or even muzzel loader for deer on the post...You just have to regester your guns with the Provost Marshall...

Well we have been running around trying to get Robert ready for his Big Oregon Trip and we have also been busy doing family stuff too…. We went to eastern Washington a couple times and actually bird hunted on Labor Day weekend. We have been trying to get stuff done around the house and just been trying to catching up….I am getting my scrapbook stuff ready to do some major scrapping while he is gone…
