Reticle issues

[r-22 pilot]

I have a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22 with the NP-R1. I've been having issues with getting the reticle to stay clear. I've adjusted it at at the back of the scope, but it doesn't seem to make any difference with the reticle. Any info or ideas would be great. Thanks!

Adjusting the back of the scope is the only way I know how to focus a reticle. You've got me???
