Really old pistols

Some pretty cool old pistols that my wife inherited. I don't know anything about the validity of the write ups in terms of accuracy or who may have provided it. Perhaps someone here has any insight. Regardless, they are pretty cool to look at and imagine the stories behind them.

The Enfield seems in really good, unrestored shape.

The flintlock on top, well, it's wood has seen better days. 100 years ago. Cool, sure! But sad shape.

The bottom 2 appear to be crafted by someone that may have had metal working experience (think local black smith) but didn't have the experience with wood. Quite common in those days.

Cool find, none the less!

I should note.
I used to work with one fellow, ok i was dating both of his daughters too, that collected old flintlock pistols.

But he knew what he was looking for & at.

I've seen him drop $15,000 for a flintlock pistol that would fit inside the palm of your hand.
And this was in 1986!
But these were beautifully crafted, but still functional pieces of art!

Personally, i wouldn't want to shoot a Damascus barrel anything with anything but a blank!
