Saw this Idea on another site.Post those old hunting pics (black& white) from the old days

Grandads 30 inch blacktail from 1942 in Cali.

I have the honor of dispaying this great buck on my wall and brag about it and the story my grandad told me so often on how he harvested what turned out being the biggest buck of his long hunting life.

That is so awesome that you have the pic and the mount. I've got a set of antlers that my wifes grandpa killed in the early 60's in wyoming. Wish I had the pics to go with it. It is quite a hawg.

Here's a few pictures of a buck my grandpa shot sometime back in the late 50's/early 60's here in Idaho. This is only one of many he took in his life but the only one I have pictures of. With the small cheaters, he measures 34 1/2" outside. Never been scored...probably never will.
