I had a couple ewes cross right in front of me near the state line one time and shot a moose years ago several miles in from the road there. Don't own a sled and probably never will, so for selfish reasons would like to see them plow this strech.

Question: Would it allow travel to Cody? I didn't think Dead Indian Pass was open during the winter. Would that be plowed by Wyoming?

Or is it just an out-and-back plowed road proposal?

Chief Joseph Hwy is plowed. Hwy 212 is plowed to Pilot Creek where there is a Parking area. From Pilot Creek to Cooke City is not plowed and is what they call the Plug. 8 mile strech of road going over Colter Pass. If it was plowed you could drive from Gardiner to Cody in the winter, or from Cody to NW Yellowstone Park.
