Painting backpacks

I've gotta say I think I'd welcome the blue backpack. I can't count the amount of times that I put my bag down to start a stalk and then have trouble finding it because of the color. The blue is like a beacon

I’ve done that, I’ve also set my pack down in one spot and took my boots off in another. So while I was looking for my boots I was also looking to make sure nobody was watching me wonder around like an idiot staring at the ground. I’d just leave it blue.

I bought a Camel back pack a while back that was meant for snowboarding, had the ability to strap a snowboard to it, then got the idea to use it for a whitetail day pack, but like you it was a bad color. long story short i got a bit drunk one night and painted it with krylon camo spray paint and its been a few year now like 5 and its still holding up decent some paint has come off but most hasnt.

Find a cheap pack cover, use it when hunting. Agree that blue is like neon to ungulates.

That's my go to plan but I still think I'll try to mute the color some. Thanks for all the input.
